Their are always high expectations for the Ballard Boys Basketball programand this season is no different. Playing the toughest schedule Coach Renner and his staff have ever assembled, they have their work cut out to win their 14th regional crown and 4th state championship, but they believe their #9 ranked Bruins can do it.

The Bruins football season started out slow, but quickly turned into a season of learning and improvment. Their improvement was evident when they beat #3 ranked Manual, after losing to them by 10 early in the year. In the first round of the playoffs they beat top ten ranked Henderson County, however lost to Trinity in the second
Ballard Mens Lacrosse finished #2 in the state last year and 1st of all the public schools. This year, in the annual "Fawl Brawl", the Varsity team dominated Eastern while only loosing by 1 to LCS and 3 to St. X, both games which junior D-Pole John Haselden says, "Could have been won".
The Ballard Field Hockey Program had a Record breaking year! The Varsity team finished their season 12-9 and made it to the semi-finals in the Apple Tournament. And the JV won the Apple tournament for the first time in school history.
